About the Author
Author of the Lost Immortals Saga and the Seraphine Trilogy. I'm also a mother, blogger, reader, gardener, home renovator, and a slayer of Egyptian mummies in Tomb Raider. I believe in karma, coffee, and seriously wish that the producers of Xena would bring my favorite show ever back.

Strange things about me: everything. I am strange, odd, unusual, and generally tend to make people think I swooped down from another planet. I don't know. Maybe I did. Who knows? I'm also a member of the #zombiesurvivalcrew on twitter. So if you need protection from the undead then don't hesitate to call on us.

I was born in the race-car city of Charlotte, NC, and now live in the City of Alchemy and Medicine, NC, when I'm not hanging out in Bardonia (Lost Immortals). Most of my characters are based on people that I've met throughout my travels and adventures. People tend to stop and start conversations with me as if I've known them my entire life. Does this freak me out? Not really. My mom says that one day I'll get kidnapped by one of them. I told her that if it weren't for these lovely people then I wouldn't be able to create the stories that I do.

I have many favorite authors but there are some who truly rock my socks: Octavia Butler, Anne Rice, Kami Garcia, J.K. Rowling, Dean Koontz (on his good-book days), Stephen King (same as DK) Ann Radcliffe, Mary Shelley, Elizabeth Kostova, and so many more...

Some other common tidbits...hmm. I've watched the movie Under the Tuscan Sun almost 200 times. Seriously, the way I see it is if I keep watching it enough, then suddenly the house that Diane Lane lives in will magically appear in my backyard. I know. I have a huge imagination!

Disappointing read
By Tabitha @ Bows & Bullets Reviews
Caleb Wood has always been able to see the Walkers. He doesn't know what they are; he just knows that no one can see them except him. Then one decides to strike up a conversation with him and become corporeal and he can't help but obsess over her. Then creepier Walkers start turning up and everything gets out of hand.
I feel like I have really missed something in this novel. My sister absolutely adored it and I have read several other reviews of people raving about its awesome-ness, but I just don't see it. It took me a record amount of time to read this rather small book (almost a month) and the entire time I was forcing myself to go on and truly gearing up to write an overly insulting review and give the book a single star rating. I gave it 2 because right at the end (in the last 30 or so pages) the story truly got interesting. Reading this really made me consider starting a "did not finish" shelf because it was so hard to get through.
The truth? I'm just too tired and frustrated to write a bitchy review. Yes, I want to warn people that this book has major issues and they might be better off staying away, but my usual fire is gone. I think this novel had many problems, the writing, the characters, the stop and go plot, the whole enchilada basically. I start with the characters because that's what I `m best at.
First off, we have our main man, Caleb. The entire novel is told via his perspective and let me tell you that for the first time I would have rather it been in third person. Caleb's personality fell beyond flat and his voice felt very much like a woman desperately trying to be masculine. This is not just because the lack of swear words or his overly censoring of his naughty thoughts (though it probably contributed just a bit), the way he processed things and the fact that he was always on the brink of tears just felt feminine to me. And seriously dude, learn to curse like a big boy because "oh snap!" just doesn't cut it. Seriously, those words were on every other page and it was about as believable as Zoey Redbird saying "bull-poop" all the time.
Then there were the female interests. Yep, I said interests, so love triangle land it is. Gia, the Walker/Angel/Whatever, so is all over the place that you can't tell what the hell she wants. One minute she is saving Caleb and then next she is avoiding him, telling him that he needs to leave her alone. She makes me wanna sing Katy Perry ::sings:: `Cause your hot then your cold, you're yes then you're no::stops:: I hate Katy Perry. For being the main love interest, she sure was flaky as hell and I couldn't bring myself to root for them at all. I honestly wanted Caleb to just forget about her and be happy with Erica, if for no other reason than so I could stop listening to his inner monologue of "why can't I being with Gia? Why doesn't Gia love me? Whine whine whine." As you can guess, Erica is the other love interest. In the beginning, I really thought she was going to be the only one, but boy was I wrong. She's that popular girl with a sweet side, you know the caring cheerleader. Her character was a bit to clingy, trying to force Caleb to like her when it was clear that he was hung up on someone else. I gotta give her props for being patient, but she would have been better off with someone else.
Almost all the rest of the characters felt one dimensional and didn't really add much to the story. Caleb's friends, the other Walkers, the bad guy, all feel very flat to me, so I'm not even going to bother with talking about them. The writing style in this was choppy and the plot was slow. I felt like none of it flowed well. You'll get 200 pages of Caleb and Gia doing the whole on again off again dance that drove me absolutely bonkers, with Gia not revealing any real information about herself (so really, what is the attraction? Just because she's hot? Dude, stop being so shallow) and Caleb panting after her, while keeping Erica waiting on the sidelines. Then after that, we get just a little bit of stop and go action and then it ends with your typical cliffhanger.
Okay, so maybe I got a little rantey, but really, it's what I do. This novel was a big downer for me and I can't say that I'll recommend it to anyone. Those out there in interweb land, enter at your own risk. Maybe I missed something, but I really just didn't enjoy this and I definitely won't be reading the sequel.

Loved it!!
By Field Trip Mommy
My Review: Dark Seraphine was so super good! It had everything that it needed and it was fabulous!

From the first page of this book I was sucked in. Stuff was happening and KaSonndra Leigh just grabbed us and threw us into the book. This book sounded like nothing I had ever heard before and it was crazy awesome and good. The plot was very fast paced and there was never a dull moment, because something crazy is always happening that usually comes out of no where.

Caleb was a great main character. He was caught between a rock and a hard place for most of the book and he has his flaws, but that's what makes him such a great character. I loved how he knew he had flaws and didn't think he was perfect and above everybody else. Gia was another great character. She was always popping up at unexpected times and she had me guessing what she was until the end. The side characters all fit together well too, and they all had a story and they weren't just shoved into the story because more characters were needed.

I loved the romance between Caleb and Gia. It wasn't one of those insta-love things that happen a lot in Young Adult books now, and I'm glad it was something different. There romance just happened slowly and it gradually got stronger and I was cheering for them in the end. More YA authors need to create romances like KaSonndra Leigh creates hers.

The writing style of this book was great. KaSonndra Leigh creates great characters and keeps the plot going smoothly. There were sometimes that I was a little confused with what was going on, but usually it was easy to tell. She also makes the dialogue sound like normal teenage conversation, which some authors don't do which was great. I could actually imagine kids at my school talking that way.

Another brilliant read
By Adriana Noriega
irstly i would like to thank the author and amazing friend KaSonndra for giving me the honour of reading and reviewing your new amazing book once again you have created a must read series.

what can i say about the book created by the beautiful and talented mind of KaSonndra Leigh. This time KaSonndra took us into the mind of a 17 year old boy and there were times that i was laughing out loud.

Caleb is your typical 17 year old boy hormones and all but with a big twist he can see beings that he calls "walkers, he has never interacted with them in any way so when a gorgeous walker who he calls "gia" suddenly starts appearing out of no where and starts talking to him, he is more than a little interested, he feels a unexplained pull to her. But suddenly things start happening that do not normally happen like girls wanting to kill him which i found sort of funny lOL and a few other creepy things.

I loved it that KaSonndra let you feel how frustrated Caleb felt, at times he didnt know what the hell was going on, he felt so frustrated and you feel it right along side with him but it makes you keep on going to find out why this is all happening.

Once again KaSonndra has written another book totally diffrent from all the others she has written and has been sucsessful in creating a must read. She also knows how to make things spooky, and she also knows how a 17 year old boys mind thinks LOL. KaSonndra is a very talented wrtier and i will be reading anything she writes as i know that she can write a book in any genre and still make it a must read.

Apropos of Nothing: Deconstruction, Psychoanalysis, and the Coen Brothers (SUNY series, Insinuations: Philosophy, Psychoanalysis, Literatur

Everything you wanted to know about the Lacanian critique of deconstruction, but were afraid to ask the Coen Brothers.

The Coen Brothers’ films are rife with figures of absence. In The Big Lebowski, the Dude does nothing. He is put on the trail of a kidnapping that never happened, and solves the crime when he realizes that he paid the ransom with “a ringer for a ringer.” The Hudsucker Proxy features a dupe who draws zeros throughout the film, enthusiastically proclaiming, “You know, for the kids!” Barton Fink is a film that revolves around the absence of a film. In Apropos of Nothing, Clark Buckner appeals to these and other figures of the void in the Coen Brothers’ films in order to articulate the close proximity and ultimate opposition between Lacanian psychoanalysis and Derridean deconstruction. In the process, he situates both theories in relationship to Heidegger’s existential phenomenology, and undertakes a comparative analysis of the negativity in death, language, drive, anxiety, visual perception, paternity, and the unconscious. Formulating one of the most theoretically rigorous readings of the Coens’ oeuvre to date, Buckner also offers a readable overview of some central debates in late twentieth-century continental philosophy.

Excellent Book, but disappointing. . .
By Marco De Vivo
Would like just to tell how good this book is (and it is indeed), but I am very disappointed by the fact that no CD is actually included and the companion Web site doesn't seem to exist either. !!

The Editorial review claims:

"The book is accompanied with a companion Web site containing both commented and uncommented versions of the source code examples presented throughout the book. In addition to the book source code, the CD also contains a copy of the author-developed Hacker Code Library v1.0."

Well, sorrily, that's NOT true.

Perhaps this confusion is due to changes resulting from the merge of Syngress with ORA, but still not fair with buyers.

Otherwise, if you, like me, are a researcher (or just interested) in the "secure code" area, then buy the book in spite of all.

By far it is the very best book written about these issues. Best in the sense of most useful. Well designed organized, with in deep study of vulnerabilities and associated exploit codes. Shellcode is explained in a rich and fresh way and the Why, How and When of shellcode are explained under an integrated framework.

NASL and MSF are explained and used in detailed and useful examples, and IMHO, this book presents the most easy, clear and condensed explanation about the Race Conditions, Format Strings, and Buffer Overflows problems I ever read yet.

Warning: Not an entry level book. You need to be familiar with several software and hardware architecture concepts to obtain full benefits from it.

Written by Jay Bonansinga, based on the original series created by Robert Kirkman, The Walking Dead: Descent follows the events of The Fall of the Governor, and Lilly Caul's struggles to rebuild Woodbury after the Governor's shocking demise.

Out of the ashes of its dark past, Woodbury, Georgia, becomes an oasis of safety amidst the plague of the walking dead - a town reborn in the wake of its former tyrannical leader, Philip Blake, aka The Governor.

Blake's legacy of madness haunts every nook and cranny of this little walled community, but Lilly Caul and a small ragtag band of survivors are determined to overcome their traumatic past... despite the fact that a super-herd is closing in on them.

This vast stampede of zombies, driven by inexorable hunger and aimed directly at Woodbury, becomes their first true test. But Lilly and company refuse to succumb, and in a stunning counteroffensive, the beleaguered townspeople save themselves by joining forces with a mysterious religious sect fresh from the wilderness.

Led by an enigmatic preacher named Jeremiah, this rogue church group seems tailor made for Woodbury and Lilly's dream of a democratic, family-friendly future. The two factions meld into one, the town prospers, and everything seems hopeful for the first time since the plague broke out.

But things - especially in the world of the walking dead - are often not what they seem. Jeremiah and his followers harbor a dark secret, the evidence of which very gradually begins to unravel.

Along with a popular TV show also based on Kirkman's AMC comic books, The Walking Dead franchise is just getting better and better with Bonansinga's newest novel. In a stunning and horrifying finale, the world for Lilly and her close friends is turned upside down, and it is solely up to Lilly Caul to cleanse the town once and for all of its poisonous fate.

These novels continue to be a great companion for fans of the television series and graphic novels!

Review

“The Walking Dead series…has taken the zombie apocalypse story everyone has long since gotten over and done it transcendentally well for an unusually long time. Readers might suspect that in this fourth Walking Dead novel, Descent, the charm might be wearing off [but] Descent maintains the series' strength due to the author's truly powerful ability to describe the series' world and to establish tone, pacing, kinesthetics, and every other nut and bolt that holds a good novel together.” ―Booklist on Descent

“The books are a really fun read...It's an interesting look at the universe that you already know and you might learn some things about your favorite characters you never knew.” ―FANBOLT on The Fall of the Governor: Part One and Part Two

“An entertaining read.” ―ComicBookMovie.com on The Walking Dead: The Road to Woodbury

“The novel fleshes out . . . backstories and connects them, giving depth to people who remained largely mysteries in the comic books. For comic book readers, the novel is full of easter eggs and surprise connections, making it not only entertaining, but necessarily for filling in the gaps left by the comic books . . . ‘The Road to Woodbury' is an essential read for any fan of ‘The Walking Dead'.” ―Examiner.com on The Walking Dead: The Road to Woodbury

“Zombie-apocalypse stories are perfect for miserable winter weather regardless, but for those obsessed with The Walking Dead (such as yours truly), this is essential reading. This is the epitome of a page-turner, and makes subway rides just breeze by. And, that end -woof.” ―REFINERY29 on The Walking Dead: Rise of the Governor

“An excellent companion to the The Walking Dead comic books. The story is enriched by the novel format, and the characterization of the series' most hated villain is something no fan will want to miss.” ―Examiner.com on The Walking Dead: Rise of the Governor

“This book stands alone and is a compelling read for fans of the series or just fans of zombies. Watch out though, because once you get a taste of the particular Kirkman brand of zombie mayhem, catching up on past issues is just around the corner.” ―The Ossuary on The Walking Dead: Rise of the Governor

“The story makes a great novel. You'll get sucked in and can easily visualize everything that is happening. It's simply a great read.” ―Comicvine.com on The Walking Dead: Rise of the Governor

“It takes great advantage of the literary medium in a way that most tie-in books would not.” ―TVOverMind.com on The Walking Dead: Rise of the Governor

“Not for the faint of heart, this book runs on pressure-cooker suspense, graphically described bloodshed, and dark acts of brutality...This riveting character study adds a new dimension to the oeuvre by fleshing out established characters and plot lines.” ―School Library Journal on The Walking Dead: Rise of the Governor

Decent was a subtly tense flight from the zombie horde
By AudioBook Reviewer
Now I do not think that it is a coincidence that this fifth book of the Walking Dead Novels came out within days of the new season of the TV show. I have been waiting a long time for both to come out and I really hope it has been worth the wait. As you and I both know hype and anticipation can sometimes kill something from being successful.

I for see this one to be more about, the Governor’s dead, now what? With Lilly taking the reins. Other than that I am not so sure where the story will go. Rebuilding Woodburry? Venturing out to create a new society? Pretty much wide open for Kirkman to create with a clean slate.

A zombie horde of hundreds, maybe thousands is what Lilly, Bob and the rest have to deal with. Woodburry is destroyed, the Governor’s dead. Now is the time for our ragtag group to create something new.

Without going into a summary of the story I will say there were low points and high points. This is definitely a transition book, you the sometimes painfully slow and confusing. Doing little more than to build story lines for future books.

Kirkman and Bonansinga have mastered the evolution of deep and expansive characters within these several books. Along with that they have been able to create a sense of urgency, despair and terror within my mind. Always thinking I know what is going to happen next and turning left when I thought it was going to go right. Keeping the listener on their toes or ears?

Decent was a subtly tense flight from the zombie horde. With exquisite action sequences, all the gore that one expects from the novels. Sure there were some sleep and WTF moments, however I will continue to be an fan of this franchise. Just keep them coming.

Oh Fred Berman how I have missed thee. He is one of the narrators that I love to listen to and he did not disappoint here. I would go as far to say that this is one of if not his best performance I have heard to date.

Characterizations done to perfection, emotional injection superb. Making be believe that he is in the middle of everything going on. Expressing the torment so well. Berman’s slightly raspy imperfect voice lending so well to the zombie apocalypse.

Not as good as the others. I'm tired of hearing "cyclone fence" & "cordite"
By Sam S.
I started out really liking the series, but as the books have gone on, they've started to become repetitive.

By now you know as soon as they describe an interaction between one of the main characters and member of the opposite sex, which men she'll want to hook up with next. 4 books and 3 romantic relationships. She doesn't even let the bodies cool before she's crawling on people.

This book goes off the main path a bit and has some interesting thoughts that haven't been addressed before. It's a major fiction story, so it's hard to say something isn't believable. However there are a few things here that when you consider all the rest of the WD universe, they seem far fetched, or they don't fit in? Does that make any sense? It's kind of like when cousin Oliver showed up on the Brady Bunch. It just leaves you thinking WTF is going on?!

You know how the main characters are, but when they walk into a scene, they're completely described again. Martinez is described as wearing a camo jacket and bandanda. So every time they have him enter a scene, instead of saying "Martinez walked up" they say, "a figure appears, it's a large male, wearing a salvation army jacket and bandana over his long black hair". The book would be half as long if they got rid of that.

Another annoyance that has really gotten to me as I am almost done with the last book in the series. I realize there are only a few ways to describe certain things, but the same words are used nearly every time something is mentioned.

Every gun fight smells like cordite.
Things are bright as phosphorus
Cyclone Fence, Cyclone Fence, Cyclone Fence, Cyclone Fence, Cyclone Fence, Cyclone Fence, Cyclone Fence
salvation army clothing
copper smell

Just to name a few. There's a term they use to describe the walker's eyes, but I can't think of it right now.

Overall, they books have been really good filler while I wait for the new spinoff series to start.

I enjoy the comic books and love the television series
By Lucretia Katz
I gave this novel one star because Amazon doesn't allow a score of zero stars.

Let me begin by stating that I'm a huge fan of The Walking Dead and the universe in which the characters exist. I enjoy the comic books and love the television series. But, as a reader, I much prefer novels. Therefore, I was delighted when the first novel, Rise of the Governor, was released in October 2011. While nobody could claim the novel is great literature, it was entertaining and a solid parallel to the comic books. Novels 2 through 4 were equally enjoyable (even though I was a bit miffed about 3 and 4 being split).

However, novel 5 "Descent" is AWFUL! The new characters are weak, one-dimensional, and downright moronic. The recurrent characters, except Bob, behave as though they've learned nothing since the inception of the zombie apocalypse. Furthermore, even though the entire premise of The Walking Dead universe requires the reader to stretch his or her imagination to its limits, there is so much in this book that I just couldn't stretch my imagination to accept (such as Bob's ability to create the underground safe haven).

This installment is simply a money grab that takes advantage of a loyal fan base who, until now, would buy anything that includes "The Walking Dead" in its title. But, after this installment, stick a fork in me. I'm done.

Between Past and Future (Penguin Classics), by Hannah Arendt, Jerome Kohn

From the author of Eichmann in Jerusalem and The Origins of Totalitarianism, “a book to think with through the political impasses and cultural confusions of our day” (Harper’s Magazine)

Hannah Arendt’s insightful observations of the modern world, based on a profound knowledge of the past, constitute an impassioned contribution to political philosophy. In Between Past and Future Arendt describes the perplexing crises modern society faces as a result of the loss of meaning of the traditional key words of politics: justice, reason, responsibility, virtue, and glory. Through a series of eight exercises, she shows how we can redistill the vital essence of these concepts and use them to regain a frame of reference for the future. To participate in these exercises is to associate, in action, with one of the most original and fruitful minds of the twentieth century.

Fantastic.
By Miguel C.
If you haven't read, "The Human Condition" (THC), you may come away with a misunderstanding of the concepts in this book; however, if you have, this book works as a good supplement. For example in, "What is Freedom?", Arendt works out her concept of 'freedom' as participation in the polis (direct democracy), or, as she would say, as engaging in action and speech in the public realm and while the concept is worked out adequately here, her explanation of this very same concept is much richer in THC. All in all, this is a fantastic book, Arendt's political philosophy never fails to deliver(she didn't like the term "Philosopher" applied to her for reasons that are made clear in THC; I use the term for the sake of being understood), but readers would do well to read THC first.

It's All About Muhammad: A Biography of the World's Most Notorious Prophet, by F. W. Burleigh

Why all the car bombs, beheadings, and mass murders in the Middle East? Why the relentless killing of non-Muslims throughout the world by the followers of Muhammad's religion? Why Boston, Paris, San Bernardino, Brussels, Orlando, and now Nice?

Author F. W. Burleigh draws on an academic, investigative, and literary background to bring forth this penetrating look at what is behind it all. Burleigh’s interest in Islam was sparked by the destruction of the World Trade Center on 9/11. The question guiding his studies was, “Why is there so much violence connected with this religion?” After a line-by-line scrutiny of 20,000 pages of the original literature of Islam, the author gives his blunt assessment in the title: It’s All About Muhammad.

The book contains 25 stunningly bold illustrations and is divided into three parts: The Cave, The Twilight Zone, and Darkness at Noon. The first 12 chapters explore evidence that Muhammad experienced epileptic fits that convinced him he was in communion with God. They explain the Koran and why Muhammad composed it the way he did. They show the humble origin of the Kabah, which only attained its cubic shape in the year A.D. 605 with Muhammad as a member of the construction crew. These first chapters also expose the magma chamber of hatred that formed in him due to traumatic early-life experiences, and they track the emergence of what can be described as a psychopathic nature. His belief in himself as the "last and final messenger" led him finally to declare war on all people who refused to accept him and his religion.

In the second part, Muhammad's magma erupts on the world. The book shows the creation of his al-qaeda--his base of operations in Yathrib (Medina) where he fled after the Meccans decided they had to kill him; his conflict with the Jewish tribes of Yathrib after they refused to accept him as their prophet; his genocide of the Jews including the beheading of the men of an entire tribe; the assassination of his critics; the battles and raids and orgies of rape, plunder, and slaughter; and finally his conquest of Mecca. Like a dramatic arc, these 18 chapters form Act II of a script that is still being played out today.

In the final part, Muhammad's conquest of all of Arabia is presented. This section also gives an account of his numerous wives and the expansion of his wars beyond the confines of the Arabian Peninsula. One of the final chapters explores his claim that he will be the first to be resurrected on the day of resurrection and that he will assist God in determining who goes to heaven.

What Muhammad created continues to wreak havoc on the world, and that is because Muslims are obligated to follow the example of Muhammad—his sunna, which is where the Sunnis take their name. And his sunna includes the example of the violence he committed against people who rejected him.

It is not sufficient any longer merely to raise the alarm about Islam--an ideology of submission to the will of a psychologically deformed and spiritually bankrupt man. What needs to accompany the alarm is a solution, and this book offers a solution: It is a matter of an aggressive, relentless, and unapologetic exposure of the truth about Muhammad in every graphic form possible, from illustrated books to docudramas to full-length feature films. With its 25 illustrations, It's All About Muhammad offers itself as an example of the approach. The truth about Muhammad is a powerful weapon of self-defense that people must take up to oppose and ultimately push back what he created. The truth about him can bring an end to what he created, and it is a weapon within the reach of everyone.

REVIEWS "Burleigh maintains and supports the notion that, ultimately, Muhammad was so morally deformed and ruthless that this book and other exposes revealing the truth about him could eventually result in the collapse of Islam. Burleigh admits that such a collapse won't be fostered by one book alone or even a series of them, but from relentless media exposure. However, It's All About Muhammad is the beginning: the opening salvo fired in a war against Islamic violence and all of its roots. Outstanding Biography brings the Heinous Truth about Mohammed into the Light.
By PatnCat
In reading, “It’s All About Mohammed, a Biography of the World’s Most Notorious Prophet,” by Mr. F.W. Burleigh, the sources, endnotes (the more detailed the better), bibliography, the table of contents and index, then a question “how well is the story told”, all of these factors held my interest and this biography reads exceptionally well. I am impressed. We do judge a book by its cover & the illustrations are exceptional and portray the truth of Mohammed pictorially. I noticed the book is in memory of Theo Van Gogh – who died for freedom of speech.

Mr. Burleigh certainly did his homework on this biography; he is excellent writer and the book is an easy to read page-turner. Never have I read such honesty, the bald truth of Mohammed. I had no idea he has epilepsy. And from reading the koran last year I opined that Mohammed was indeed a murderous barbarian, the soul of a Charles Manson and the murdering instinct to match in order to push his agenda. The Follower of Allah Manifesto. Or the Prophet of Allah Manifesto. Take your choice. A Psychopath Manifesto Religion/Social System – yes, I will agree based upon my reading the Koran and this biography is right on target. The biography covers his birth, youth, his marriages, his scheming to get ‘protection’ from warring tribes in conflict with each other, and the path he takes to convince others that he is the right hand of fake-god-Allah and you better be believing and obeying the prophet and what the profit says that allah said. Profit? Did I misspell that? I was amazed at the length and tenacious trek that Mohammed took in selling his Allah-and Profit of Allah scheme to the townspeople in Mecca and surrounding towns.

There are 3 main parts to this outstanding biography, “The Cave, The Twilight Zone and the Darkness at Noon”. With chapters such as, “Obey Me!” “War on the World”, “The Jewish Question”, “I bring you Slaughter”, “What’s Yours is Mine Too”, “Trench Warfare”, “Jihad, Jihad, Jihad” “Terror Has Made Me Victorious”, you’ll get the idea that this is no ‘religion of peace’ with warm fuzzies that has been shoved upon us since September 11th, 2001 by our own politicos and news media. From birth to death, including the weirdness and scope of his marriages, and how all of islam happened is detailed in this biography. How Mohammed made it happen, and ultimately it was the reward of wealthy, the property, belongings and goods of others, then the salesmanship of the fantasy of Paradise of perpetually virgin women, sex and comforts of exotic foods (yes and includes wine also) in this 12-year old boy’s wet-dream version of Paradise. How Mohammed made up his own Allah-allows this or that – and as his 9 year old wife wisely opined, “it is convenient how Allah gives you what you wish” when his self-serving allah-made-up-god granted Mohammed certain rights over those of his followers. Even a 9 year-old girl could see thru islam -made-up-by-Mohammed. Fooled a lot of grown men – but was it the promise of profit? Thru the so-called war booty of property, goods and wealth of others when Mohammed gave his followers targets to attack? Was it the illiterate audience or the times in which he lived? That he offered this earthly wealth then upon death the wet-dream Paradise and his convincing manner in telling his fire-side promises? Slowly but surely, page by page, Mr. Burleigh has set the truth before us.
Mr. Burleigh’s book is a totally refreshing truth, a cool and clearing wind that has blown into the closeted fiction that is islam – of ignorant imams and the Saracens, Moors or whatever they’ve named themselves over the years have protected islam with dire threats to the unbelievers aimed at us in Western civilization. The biography details the how Moha became enraged as the Jews and Christians didn’t believe his claim to be the foretold Messiah and that Jesus was a mere prophet. As his rage grew against those who rejected his claims, Christians and Jews became 'the worst of creatures' and are "apes and pigs" and for mohammadans, 'do not take Christians and Jews as your friends as they are only friends of each other."

Mr. Burleigh explains that with frontal lobe epilepsy the afflicted person doesn’t like singing, music, barking dogs, church bells ringing – as the noise is painful. How Moha faked up this so-called religion/society and he and his followers have beaten, bullied, murdered, raped and pillaged until people gave up, submitted, ran away, or fell under his follower’s swords. And the conquerors in the name of islam kept their wealth, property and belongings. The Prophet was profit. This is the story of GREED, POWER and CONTROL and how Mohammed turned peaceful Arabs into murderous marauders to attack peaceful Arabian people on their workaday caravans, then the Jews and in turn the Christians.
Such continues today, and why are we not surprised?
Remember, and Mohammed said it himself, “Allah is the Great Deceiver.” Yes, 1.2 billion have been deceived – by their own psychotic founder. Don’t we think it is time that they opened their eyes for what islam really is? For who Mohammed really was? His barbaric and murderous actions speak for themselves – now and then. Have we opened our eyes for what islam really is? Our wake up call since September 11th 2001? Boston Marathon bombings? The Fort Hood terrorist murders within our own Army? And 22,000 jihad terrorists attacks since September 11th 2001 by Islamic terrorists.

I highly recommend that you read this biography. Don’t expect a fuzzy warm feelings either, sometimes the truth is not what our politcos say it is, or our own newsies. Religion of peace? Islamaphobe? Racist? Bigot? No REALIST. After reading on Mohammad’s massacres of townspeople and caravans of traders, seek the truth for yourself – compare the koran to this biography. It’s all there. There is no religion of peace in islam. Only a barbaric society ruled by tyrants. We've had plenty of those to fight over the centuries, including WWII.
You’ve been lied to by our leaders. Listen to their smooth talk about a religion of peace...and then look at ISIS and read this biography. The ultimate truth disclosed.
You’ll be amazed.
This biography is the truth. And it ain’t pretty, nor is it peaceful.
Order extra copies for your friends, for your church and synagogue libraries.
I did.

How About SIX Stars?
By James A. Stehr
Browsing another website, I saw a post by some guy who said, "This is the most important book written in the past 100 years." I don't know about the "100 years," but without a doubt, this book is extremely important and very, very timely. Today we're seeing some of the most gruesome savagery that has ever confronted the modern civilized world, and it's being perpetrated in the name of God. Yes, there are historical precedents in medieval times by those of other religions, but today we're hearing explanations from supposedly informed sources as to the contemporary causes of it. Trouble is, that without the knowledge that comes from this and other books like it, you'll be completely incompetent to make a sound judgement of whether or not you're hearing the truth. Worse yet, you may be put in a position where you must cast a vote for or against someone who has expounded a position on this issue. Certainly, you'll be at sea without this background. And to be a really competent judge, you must read at least three books on this topic: The first should be "In This Arab Time" by Fouad Ajami (RIP). His book will give you a concise historical perspective on the politics of the entire middle east. The second book must be this one by Burleigh for an extensive and detailed history of Islam. Next, your third read must be, "Iran's Final Solution for Israel" by Andrew G. Bostom. Personally, I had trouble stopping there, and so will you. Nevertheless, have at it with Robert Spencer, Syed Salem Shahzad (RIP), Carlotta Gall and others. They'll give you the shade and color. Ultimately, there will be the question of the credibility or accuracy of Burleigh's book by its negative critics. After all the reading I've done on this topic, I say that there is a consistency among the writings and a responsibility reflected in the research and references by these authors, such that, even deducting a sizable amount for the inevitable exaggerations and biases of almost any human author, this stuff is dead-on credible. And to those who say, "Islam is peace," I say, let's hear it - that part of it - that's peace! I take it on faith that it must be there. And, hopefully, it's there to the extent and credibility as is the opposite in this book. Furthermore, I say that there is a profound mandate on any Muslim academic and cleric who so believes, to broadcast that peaceful part of it, loudly, clearly and credibly, far and wide - NOW! Otherwise, the truth about Islam will rest with Burleigh, Bostom, Spencer and others who tell it so convincingly, as they see it. I would give this book six stars, if I could.

HARRASSMENT BY MUSLIM OVER MY BOOK REVIEW.
By PatnCat
HARRASSMENT BY MUSLIM on AMAZON.COM ****KEMO47**** Dear readers of Mr. Burleigh's great book. This muslim KEMO47 fellow has made similiar comments on your reviews -- '''wanting''' US TO REVISE OUR OPINIONS ON MR. BURLEIGH's book. I find this HIGHLY 'incredilous and extremely ABNORMAL about our book review to consittue HARRASSMENT. So he persists in this effort to the point of having extensive discourses which I find just-- like a muslim would do --- harrass -- nag - cadjole -- peck - and NOT EVER GIVE UP. This is just annonying and PROVES OUR POINT ABOUT ISLAM -- this is yet another example of the '''religion of peace'' - someone so concerned about a book review that would go to ALL OF US INDIVIDUALLY here on this book to hound us. Yes, we know, Allah is the GREAT DECEIVER. Here is yet another example.
One reviewer claims "the koran was tame reading' - I disagree."I will cast terror into the hearts of those who
disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads
and strike off every fingertip of them."
"Allah" (Qur'an 8:12)

"Fight everyone in the way of Allah and
kill those who disbelieve in Allah."
Muhammad (Ibn Ishaq 992)

"Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself."
