The sample screens that are printed upon the page are dull and faded ( but great book!)

This is not a comment upon the quality of the material within the book as I have not fully read it but rather the quality of the printing. When I purchase a printed book, which I do not do often, I have the expectation of a crisper, clearer printing. The sample screens that are printed upon the page are dull and faded. Just to make sure it wasn't my eyes I compared it to older printed IT books that I own and confirmed it to be dull and washed out. I hope the content matches the reviews that I have seen but perhaps they should think about making this available on Kindle. The printed version is not acceptable at this cost.
UPDATE: Already updating this review because after perusing this book I can already see it is one the the better books out there. I programmed IOS in Objective C and the way that they utilized detailed projects to instruct is a great deal better than many of the books out there. Went from a 3 to a 4. Wish there was a 4.5

People keep saying you can't learn to code from a book. In some ways, they are right. Programming is a skill. It requires practice. But books have a place, especially when they help you with that critical first period where you must code but you don't necessarily know how to make anything yet.
The iOS Apprentice walks the reader through how to build four projects that are demonstrative of what iOS programming is. You are not a passive reader of the book. You are an active participant and code fully functioning projects. These projects introduce you to many of the objects and frameworks that working iOS developers use every day.

I have read through this book and I can say it has taught me so much in the last 1-2 weeks of reading it, way more then I had learnt in about 1-2 months of YouTube videos and forums, it teaches you in such an easy going and funny way! The apps you make during the book are really cool apps you would even consider using in your day to day life
I recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn how to make iOS apps
